The Traralgon R.S.L. Bowls Club was formed in 1966 under President L. Hogg and Secretary B. Fairley. A year later a ladies section was formed with D. Hogg President, and J.McMillan Secretary.

The club consists of 2 grass greens situated on the South side of the Traralgon R.S.L. Club. in Grey Street Traralgon. The Club fields 3 Saturday Pennant teams and 2 Tuesday Pennant teams. Social bowls are held on most Thursdays. Invitation events are held every third Monday and fourth and fifth Wednesday of each Month. The Club encourages new and social bowlers through its barefoot program held on Monday evenings.
